When the programme can collect on those rails, the incoming payment can be validated as a domestic-style credit rather than an international message with correspondent banks in the middle. Finance and operations can treat that credit as confirmed for fulfilment rules that already exist in the merchant’s own process — subject to the programme, chargebacks and the scheme rules of the rail.
