Mass-payments are a disbursement layer on the BREADX programme, not a retail bank product.
Paying many recipients across borders usually means a new bank relationship, a new file format and a new compliance conversation in each country. Mass-payments fold last-mile delivery into the programme the company already holds with BREADX.
The contracting client is the business. It onboards the people or companies it needs to pay. Recipients do not open a walk-in retail account with BREADX.
The company funds the programme, then instructs payouts. Last-mile rails can be a local bank credit, a mobile wallet, a card credit or pickup, where the destination and the programme allow it. Routing is there to pick a rail the recipient can actually receive.
Recipient data quality, the reason for payment, and the decision to pay remain with the client. Screening on the rail does not replace BREADX onboarding of the business or the client’s own records.
Not every method is live in every country on day one. Quotes and corridors are confirmed in the programme. Related: Mass-payments.
